There's actually some history behind the BirthWaves name. The domain used to belong to a group that supported families dealing with infant loss and really difficult pregnancies. We aren't affiliated with that original team at all. Still, stepping into this space, we have so much respect for the work they did and the families they helped.

We get that picking a name isn't just another box to check off a to-do list. It doesn’t matter if you are having your first baby, adding to the family, or welcoming a rainbow baby. The choice carries real weight.

Because having a kid pretty much changes your whole life. And the name you pick? That's going to stick with them forever, from kindergarten all the way to their first real job.

Honestly, we built BirthWaves because we were tired of those massive, alphabetical lists of names. We wanted something that actually made sense. Instead of endless scrolling, we focus on context.
